Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon Drink Recipes

Barenjager HB Bottle

Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon has been released from the makers of the traditional and classic 70 proof  Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur.

This version of honey infused whiskey has more of a pure honey profile and is mixable with several standard restaurant and bar mixers like coke, ginger ale, club soda as well as with lemonade, Iced and hot teas.  We recommend trying pure sugared colas and ginger ales and beers like Jones Soda or Boylans or fruited seltzers or sparkling beverages.  Here are five great cocktails with Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon designed by Beverage Consultant  Larry ‘Smokey’ Genta  www.BarMechanics.com

Three Olives Loopy Vodka!

Loopy

Martini Recipe Video! Using Fruit Loop Vodka Allows ‘Breakfast Anytime’ Fun for Bartenders

Three Olives Loopy Vodka is the latest flavor from Proximo Spirits and if you haven’t tried it…think Fruit Loops. Not that Kellogg’s wants to make the connection but I’ve bought two boxes for the first time in years.  But success levels for beverages are measured first in the amount of buzz, then the placement and with every reorder and that’s what’s happening at bars and restaurants who are ordering 6 pack cases and running out.

The Loopy Martini @ Firepit City Grill-Ft.Myers, Florida
Three Olives Loopy Martini

Okay it’s real hard to defend those that feel that just don’t have room on the back bar for another vodka. Every berry is represented at every price point and to get noticed on the back bar for your new flavor gets tougher. But leave it to Three Olives to shake out a place on the back bar with one of the most recognized breakfast cereals as a flavor profile.

At the Firepit City Grill in Fort Myers, Florida it started selling as many flavors do along with Red Bull or sour mix but now it’s getting more notice as an alternative to an after dinner drink and if you’re upo and not really a Bloody Mary fan, it’s an eye opener that your remember pouring from a box.

The colorful and eye-catching package demands a festive presentation so the Loopy Martini uses real Fruit Loops, not only muddled to be used as a glass rimmer, but they used Marshmallow Fluff to adhere Fruit Loops to the glass. Besides Three Olives Loopy Vodka this Outrageous Cocktails feature calls for only splashes of Irish Cream along with a bit of milk or half and half.

Three Olives Vodka is new star of the Proximo Spirits portfolio which also recently released Three Olives Cola Vodka, but Loopy has created the same kind of interest as Three Olives Dude Vodka which was a 2011 release. Dude Vodka mimics the taste of the popular and original soft drink Mountain Dew. But Loopy Vodka is not the only Three Olives Flavor that is reminiscent of a flavor associated with breakfast . Three Olives Rangtang is a blend of citrusy orange flavors that has a striking flavor match with Tang, the powdered breakfast drink that was known as the drink of the astronauts.

Three Olives Vodka is available in many markets from Premier Beverage Company, a division of the Charmer-Sunbelt Group

Ingredients:
Three Olives Loopy Vodka
Irish Cream Liqueur
Half & Half (Milk)
Handful of Kellogg’s Fruit Loops
Tablespoon of Marshmallow Fluff

Prep: Use Marshmallow Fluff to stick assorted colors of 8-10 Fruit Loops to the inside of a dry martini glass. Muddle one of each color Fruit Loops and moisten half the rim with Fluff to hold muddled cereal to the rim.

Ice a Martini shaker and pour ample amount (3 ounces) Three Olives Loopy Vodka over ice adding a splash of Irish Cream Liqueur and splashes of either whole milk or half & half.  Shake well and strain.  Fruit Loops will release slowly to float on top of martini glass.

Fireball Whiskey is Hot! Sazerac Sues to Protect Trademark

Popular Cinnamon Whiskey Files Suit to Protect Trademark

Flattery comes in strange ways, but imitation has legal  limits.

Fireball Sues Cinnamon Knock-Off

Sazerac Inc., the makers of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey have filed a lawsuit against the makers of SinFire Cinnamon Whiskey pointing to violations of their trademarks on the product that  has become a ‘hot’ item in bars across America.

Fireball Whiskey has quickly received the attention of consumers with a cinnamon spiced whiskey that they say ‘Taste’s Like Heaven but Burns Like Hell‘®, and it appears  Hood River DistillersSinFire,  is trying to mimic Fireball and it’s distinctive packaging in hopes of sales.

Southern Comfort has beenproduced since 1874, though not continuously and not always by the modern formula. The brand was created by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron in New Orleans, when he wanted to make a better tasting whiskey. In 2009 Southern Comfort released SoCo Lime and received critical acclaim and consumer favor.

The product will not be available until September, however some distributors are taken pre-sales based on the amount of  interest in the brand.
